Objective To dynamically monitor the blood glucose level, fluctuation trend and the relationship with daily life in newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) patients. Methods Twenty-four patients with newly diagnosed and untreated T2DM underwent a continuous glucose monitoring system (CGMS) for blood glucose monitoring for 72 hours. Patients recorded daily diaries. Results The blood glucose level measured by CGMS was significantly and positively correlated with the blood glucose level of the finger (r = 0.94, P <0.01). The high glucose level in the day was 1 ~ 5 h after breakfast and 1 ~ 5 h after dinner Point to 1:00 was the most concentrated period of peak blood glucose (57.5%), while 75.5% of the low blood glucose values occurred between 2 am and 5. Blood glucose (7.8 mmol / L and 11.1 mmol / L of the time percentage Respectively, 93% and 57% respectively.Food, exercise and life events affected the fluctuation of blood glucose. Conclusion Dynamic blood glucose monitoring can show the characteristics of blood glucose level in newly diagnosed T2DM patients in more detail.Food, exercise and life events are the main factors affecting blood glucose fluctuation , Providing a clinical basis for formulating a more rational individualized treatment plan and providing a more vivid and convincing material for diabetes education.
