党的十六大报告在论述全面繁荣农村、加快城镇化进程时,非常明确地提出“壮大县域经济”。壮大县域经济是促进城乡经济协调发展的重要举措,更是富裕广大农民的有效途径,壮大县域经济是当前及今后一段时期的重要任务。
When discussing the issue of comprehensively prospering the rural areas and accelerating the process of urbanization, the report at the 16th National Party Congress set forth the concept of “expanding the county economy” very clearly. The expansion of county economy is an important measure to promote the coordinated development of urban and rural economy. It is also an effective way to enrich vast numbers of peasants. The expansion of county economy is an important task now and in the coming period.
