建国十年来,我国数学教育战线和其他战线一样取得了辉煌的成就,数学教师在党的教育下思想觉悟有很大提高,教师队伍空前壮大;数学教育的目的、任务、內容較之解放前有根本性的改革,通过結合中国实际学习苏联,建立了一套基本上符合社会主义革命和社会主义建设需要的教学大綱、教材及教学方法;学生的知識貭量普遍提高,改变了解放的只有少数学生学会数学的情况,特别是1958年在总路綫光輝的照耀下,在党的領导和教育为无产阶級政治服务,教育与生产劳动相結合的方針指导下,数学教育实現了深刻的革命,取得了新的輝煌成就。許多省市編写了理論结合实际的补充教材,广大教师和学生参加生产劳动后丰富了教学內容,改进了教学方法;学生学得更多,更深,更活了,大大提高了解决实际问题的能力,从而初步改变了过去数学教学忽视政治,脫离实际,脫离学生情况的現象。
In the ten years since the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the mathematics education front in China has achieved brilliant achievements as well as other fronts. Mathematics teachers have greatly improved their ideological consciousness under the party’s education, and their teachers have grown unprecedentedly; the purpose, tasks, and content of mathematics education have been compared to those before liberation. Fundamental reforms, by combining China’s actual learning of the Soviet Union, established a set of teaching syllabuses, teaching materials, and teaching methods that are basically consistent with the needs of the socialist revolution and socialist construction; the general increase in the knowledge of students has changed only a few of the liberation. Students learn mathematics, especially under the brilliance of the general line in 1958.
