Fluorescence polarization and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) were used to determine the changes of synaptic membrane fluidity in rat model of hypoparathyroidism. The results showed that sustained hypocalcemia at 2 months decreased the average microviscosity of synaptic membrane in the cerebral cortex, hippocampus, striatum and midbrain of the fire rat, and there was a significant difference between the cerebral cortex and the hippocampus in the control group P <0.001), suggesting that the hypothalamus synaptic membrane fluidity increased. In addition, hypocalcemia also caused the hippocampal synaptic membrane lipid shedding temperature Tc advance, suggesting that membrane fluidity and permeability were increased.
