工会是劳资矛盾运动的产物,是工人阶级在争民主、争人权的斗争中产生的。从工会诞生的第一天起,它就代表广大职工协调劳动关系、处理劳资矛盾、维护工人的合法权益。从根本上讲,工会不维护职工的合法权益就失去了它存在的理由,就无法承担“代表工人利益”的神圣使命。
Trade unions are the product of the contradiction between labor and capital and are the result of the working class’s struggle for democracy and the struggle for human rights. From the first day of the birth of the trade union, it represents the vast majority of workers and staffs in coordinating labor relations, handling labor conflicts and safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of workers. Fundamentally, if the union loses its justification without safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of workers, it will not be able to shoulder the sacred mission of “representing the interests of workers.”
