1942年6月,黄民伟同志担任鄂中地委社会部长、敌伪工作部部长、同时兼任鄂中地区公安总局局长。当时,鄂中公安总局组建了一支短小精干的手枪队,队员都是从部队和地方党挑选出来的共产党员,党性、组织纪律性较强,作战勇敢,机动灵活。他们除进行侦察、破案、开展敌占区的工作外,还配合部队进行特殊的战斗任务。
In June 1942, Comrade Huang Minwei was the social minister of Ezhong prefectural committee and the minister of the enemy’s puppet work department, and concurrently the director of the Public Security Bureau of Hubei Province.
