Objective To monitor the intracranial microemboli of transcatheter arterial system transient ischemic attack (TIA) by transcranial Doppler (TCD) and observe the effect of microembolism on recurrent stroke. Methods Ninety-nine patients with TIA in the internal carotid artery system were enrolled in this study. TCD was performed on the first day, the second day, the third day, the seventh day, the 14th day and the third month after hospital discharge. TCD series of microemboli Monitor and follow up. Results 41 cases of micro-emboli were positive, 57 cases were negative, the incidence of stroke in two groups was significantly different (P <0.01). Conclusions The microemboli detected by TCD in patients with TIA in the internal carotid artery system is an important risk factor for early stroke recurrence. The shorter the time between TIA and TCD detection, the higher the incidence of microemboli.
