Gastric cancer is one of the most common malignancies in Southeast Asia, and its mortality is the highest in malignant tumors. PTEN is the first anti-oncogene with bispecific phosphatase activity to date, and its mutation or deletion is closely related to the occurrence, development, infiltration and metastasis of many human primary malignant tumors. Tumor suppressor gene plays an important role in the occurrence and development of gastric cancer. The low expression of PTEN in gastric cancer has been confirmed by a large number of experiments, which may be an effective indicator to guide the comprehensive treatment of gastric cancer and determine the prognosis.
