针对PDC钻头制造中复合片开裂的问题,采用直流电位法对复合片质量进行了检测评价。介绍了直流电位法检测复合片衬垫裂纹和空隙等表面缺陷的原理和方法,并通过与金相显微观察和焊接试验结果的对比分析,找出了导致复合片在焊接中开裂的主要原因是复合片衬垫存在制造裂纹。对300片复合片的检测和试验结果证明,直流电位法检测的正确率为98.3%。由该方法检测合格的复合片在焊接过程中基本不开裂。从而为PDC钻头制造厂家提供了方便有效的复合片质量无损检测方法、该方法在华北油田太行钻头厂推广应用情况表明,可节约钻头制造成本5.1%~10.2%,经济效益明显。
Aiming at the cracking of composite sheet in the manufacture of PDC bit, the quality of composite sheet was evaluated by DC potential method. The principle and method of detecting the surface defects such as cracks and voids in composite sheet liner by direct current potential method are introduced. The main reason of cracking caused by composite sheet in welding is found by the comparison with metallographic observation and welding test. There is a crack in the liner. The detection and test results of 300 composite films prove that the correctness of DC potential detection is 98.3%. By the method of testing qualified composite pieces in the welding process is basically not cracked. This provides a convenient and effective nondestructive testing method for PDC bit manufacturers. The method is widely applied in Taihang Bit Factory of Huabei Oilfield. It shows that the manufacturing cost of bit can be saved by 5.1% ~ 10.2% and the economic benefit is obvious.
