同志們: 我們的全國文化教育工作會議開得很好,無論在大會上或小組會上都經過了熱烈的、和諧的討論,一致同意了習仲勳副主任關於‘一九五四年文化教育工作的方針和任務’的報告。在討論中,大家都充滿着團結的精神,充滿着批評與自我批評的精神,檢查了本地區、本部門的工作,肯定了一九五三年工作的成績,指出了缺點和錯誤,交流了經驗,反映了很多情况,提出和研究了工作中存在的若干重要問題,並且對改進政務院文化教育委員會和中央各文化教育部門的工作,提供了許多寶貴的意見。經過這樣的討論,進一步地明確和統一了方針政策思想,研究和確定了一九五四年文化教育事業計劃。特別重要的,是在會議進行中,周總理向我們作了重要的指示,大家都受到了深刻的教育,增强了工作信心,增加了前進的勇氣。我們一定要切實執行周總理的指示,緊密團結,力求進步,提高社會主義的覺悟,發揚艱苦奮鬥的作風,努力做好各項文化教育工作。中央各文化教育部門的蘇聯專家,也熱心地參加了我門的會議,給了我們很多幫助,我們的成就,和他們高度的國際主義精神是分不開的。
Comrades: Our national conference on cultural and educational work went well. No matter whether we had a lively and harmonious discussion at the general assembly or at the panel meetings, we agreed that Vice Chairman Xi Zhongxun’s speech on ’Culture and Education in 1954 Guidelines and tasks’ report. During the discussion, everyone was full of the spirit of solidarity, filled with the spirit of criticism and self-criticism, inspected the work in this region and this department, affirmed the achievements in 1953, pointed out the shortcomings and mistakes and exchanged views Experience has reflected many situations, raised and studied some important issues in the work, and provided many valuable opinions on improving the work of the Culture and Education Committee of the State Council and the Central Education and Culture Departments. After such discussions, we further clarified and unified the principles, principles and policies, and studied and determined the plan for cultural and educational undertakings in 1954.
