5·1 前言前面几章已经讨论了系统的一些基本特性,如光学传递函数、图象的信噪比、帧速和放大率。每一个基本特性,只说明系统在完成实际任务时的一小部分能力,因此它是表征设计的一种有用的方法,但是还需要在适合于各个具体任务所兼有的其它一些量度手段,以便进行性能的折衷。想象中的这种性能的综合量度还应包括观察者的各种局限,应能根据系统基本参数作出予先的判断,应易于测量,并应与最终要用到的系统性能有联系。本章要研究一般能用到的某些综合量度,并力图确定它有多大用处和它又是怎样使人误解的。
5.1 INTRODUCTION The previous chapters have discussed some of the basic characteristics of a system, such as the optical transfer function, the image's signal-to-noise ratio, frame rate and magnification.
