对水分胁迫下甘薯离体叶片失水速率和叶片渗透调节物质与品种抗旱性关系的研究表明 ,水分胁迫下不同甘薯品种离体叶片失水速率比对照均明显减慢 ;叶片中可溶性糖含量和游离氨基酸总量比对照均明显增加 ,K+ 含量明显下降 ,游离脯氨酸含量有不同程度的增加。叶片中可溶性糖、总游离氨基酸和K+ 的相对值 (占对照 % )与品种抗旱性均呈极显著正相关 (r分别为 0 .9374、0 .92 2 9和 0 .835 9,P <0 .0 1) ;离体叶片失水速率的相对值与品种抗旱性呈显著负相关 (r=- 0 .5 4 5 0 ,P <0 .0 5 ) ;而游离脯氨酸的相对值与品种抗旱性间的相关性不显著 (r=0 .2 5 83,P =0 .35 2 6 )。因此 ,除游离脯氨酸外 ,其余指标均可用于甘薯品种抗旱性的评定
