创作《雪域摩天哨》版画作品系列,是我10年以前的心愿。那是我第一次带队到西藏边防演出,是我首次亲自体验到:在非战争条件下,西藏军人无疑是最能体现出当代军人精神品格和生命力度的战斗群体。他们一年四季都在与死神较劲,直面生命极限的挑战,在缺氧、缺水、生命难于存活的“禁区”生活着,忠实地守卫着那片广袤的被冰雪覆盖的国土。他们平凡得仿佛一粒不起
Creation of “snowy whistle” print series, is my wish 10 years ago. That was the first time that I led to Tibet’s border performance. For the first time in my life, I personally experienced that under non-war conditions, Tibet’s military personnel are undoubtedly the most capable fighting group that reflects the spirit and character of contemporary military personnel. They are fighting against death all year round, confronting the challenge of life limit, and living in the “restricted area” where oxygen deficiency, water shortage and life are hard to survive, faithfully guarding the vast territory covered by snow and ice. They seem as if they are extraordinary
