随着我国城市化进程的日益加快,我国城市少数民族人口总体呈增长态势,从其来源和居住城市时间的长短来看,可分为城市世居少数民族、城市迁入少数民族和城市流动少数民族三种类型;而在实际城市管理工作中,通常是从其生存发展状况,把城市少数民族划分为强势、优势和困难三个群体。
