张家港市港区高级中学建校3年来,在市委、市政府的正确领导下,在金港镇党委、政府和各级教育主管部门的精心指导下,始终坚持“教学有特点、学生有特长、学校有特色、管理高标准、育人高素质”的办学目标,进一步贯彻“以人为本”的办学理念,深化素质教育,积极实施课程改革,强化办学特色,努力打造学校教育品牌,不断提升学校办学层次,圆满地完成了第一个三年计划,并于2005 年5月以高标准通过了江苏省二星级普通高中的验收。虽然我校是一所新建高中,生源质量不理想,教师也大多是刚走上工作岗位的新教师,但是今年首届毕业班学生参加高考,战绩辉煌:本科达线超自测指标60％,专科达线 90％,并培养了全市惟一的空军飞行员本科生,另有3名艺术类考生达本科线。2005年8月,学校首次参加市教育质量综合评估,喜获二等奖的好成绩。
In the past three years since the establishment of the Zhangjiagang Harbor District Senior High School, under the correct leadership of the municipal party committee and the municipal government, under the meticulous guidance of the Party Committee, the government, and the education authorities at all levels in Jingang Town, we have consistently adhered to the characteristics of teaching, students’ specialty, and schools. The school’s goal of “characteristics, high management standards, and educated and qualified people” is to further implement the “people-oriented” philosophy of running schools, deepen quality education, actively implement curriculum reforms, and strengthen school running characteristics, strive to build school education brands, and constantly improve the level of school education. The first three-year plan was successfully completed, and in May 2005, it passed the acceptance of a two-star high school in Jiangsu Province with high standards. Although our school is a newly built high school, the quality of students is not ideal, and most teachers are new teachers who have just embarked on a job. However, the first graduating students of this year participated in the college entrance examination. The record is brilliant: the self-test index of the undergraduate line exceeds 60%. The line reached 90%, and trained the only air force pilot undergraduate in the city, and another 3 art candidates reached the undergraduate course. In August 2005, the school participated in the comprehensive evaluation of the city’s education quality for the first time, and won the second grade prize.
