The Ministry of Construction issued an announcement urging local governments to promote the use of new technologies and new products in residential construction, make efforts to resolve key technical issues in the construction of housing, and accelerate the process of transforming the traditional housing industry with modern science and technology. The first batch of residential technology recommendation projects announced are mainly divided into five major categories: residential structural system technology, building energy-saving complete sets of technology, complete set of residential equipment technologies, complete set of modern residential community management technologies, and residential community environmental quality assurance technologies. The first batch of residential products recommended projects are: wall materials, non-load bearing internal wall materials, masonry materials, insulation materials, waterproof materials, and sanitary materials.
