在日前召开的全国防沙治沙工作会上,北京市昌平区林业局领回了由全国绿化委员会、人事部、国家林业局联合颁发的“全国防沙治沙先进集体”的金色奖牌。据了解,近些年来,昌平在防沙治沙中取得了显著的成效,沙化面积从最初的7244.1公顷减少到现在的2333.3公顷;沙区有林地由原来的9029.2公顷增加到40561.7公顷。同时,区域内地表植被显著增加,林木覆盖率由原来的12.7％增长到现在的57％,沙化扩大趋势得到了有力遏制,生态面貌发生了根本性的改变。
In the recently held national desertification prevention and control work conference, Changping District Forestry Bureau of Beijing brought back the golden medal of “National Advanced Unit to Combat Desertification and Desertification” jointly issued by the National Greening Committee, Ministry of Personnel and State Forestry Administration. It is understood that in recent years, Changping has made remarkable achievements in preventing and controlling desertification. The area of desertification has been reduced from 7244.1 hectares to 2333.3 hectares at the beginning. The area with sandy land has been increased from 9029.2 hectares to 40,561.7 hectares. At the same time, the surface vegetation in the area increased significantly, and the forest coverage rate increased from 12.7% to 57% now. The trend of desertification expansion has been effectively checked and the ecological landscape has undergone fundamental changes.
