“潇湘八景”谓潇水、湘水附近之八个胜景。宋沈括之《梦溪笔谈》曰:“度支员外郎宋迪工画,尤善平远山水,其得意者,有平沙落雁,远浦归帆,山市晴岚江天暮雪,洞庭秋月、潇湘夜雨,烟寺晚钟、渔村夕照,谓之八景,好事者多传之。”后人以此八景,专属之潇湘洞庭,称为潇湘八景。元代即有潇湘八景图,见清孙承泽之《庚子消夏记》。潇湘八景中之《平沙落雁》,为古琴名曲。昔时笔者也一度从事民族乐器之演奏。也多次聆听古琴名家演奏此曲。正
