郁文同志2010年4月13日去世至今已有两年多的时间。有许多事情随着岁月的流逝慢慢在人们的记忆里淡忘。但是郁文同志在中国地方志指导小组带领我们一起工作的情景,却时常在我的脑海中涌现。他年老体弱,不辞辛劳地工作,为中国修志工作中作出了重大贡献。他实事求是、不说空话、平易近人的工作作风,永远是我们学习的榜样。回想往事,犹历历在目。现在就我所知的情况,把郁文同志在中国地方志指导小组的工作情况作些介绍,并以此缅怀郁文同志。第二届中国地方志指导小组正式成立是在1995年7月25日,经国务院领导批准,由李铁映同志担任组长,郁文同志任常务副组长,王忍之、王刚同志任副组长。指导小组成员共有28名。
