在我就读于上海音乐学院的五年中,有几位有不同意义的同学很应该记述。这就是高我一班的《梁祝》作者之一的作曲家陈钢,与我同班的今日的音乐理论家戴鹏海,还有晚我一班的同学王西麟。前两人我已写过了,而这些年成就越来越大的作曲家王西麟,却还没有记述他学生时代和成名之前艰苦坎坷时代的文字。王西麟和我有四个阶段的共处和接触。在我记忆中,王西麟是在所有上下几班的同学中,甚至大约前后十多届的校友中,他的道路大概是最为坎坷的,由此也造就了他的思想和性格的变化也是最大的。尤其使当日的老同学们想不到的是,当
