当下中国舞剧事业繁荣发展,大量题材的选择都转向文学领域,使得由文学作品改编而来的舞剧越来越多。以文学作品为蓝本的创作中,大体可分为两类:一类是在忠实于原著的基础上进行改编;另一类是不照搬原著,而是借助原著的历史价值和社会价值来阐述自己的观点,即“借题发挥”。在舞蹈界,多数创作都属于第一类,许多编导仅仅满足于按部就班地演绎原著的故事情节面忽略了主体意识的表达,能将借题发挥“玩转”的人却少之又少,笔者认为,在目前中国舞界王玫可谓是能将“借题发挥”做到极致的编导之一。
