毛主席教导我们:“用机械装备农业,是农、林、牧三结合大发展的决定性条件”。为填补我省营林机械的空白,发展林业生产,加速农业机械化的步伐,我们于一九七七年试制成功FW 3造林挖穴机。在厂内试验的基础上,于一九七七年十一月至十二月,在长太县陈巷公社林果场进行了生产性试验。试验结果表明:本机布置合理,结构紧凑,重量较轻,振动较小,操作方便,对复杂的自然条件有较好的适应性,能基本上满足营林对挖穴的要求;
Chairman Mao teaches us: “Equipping agriculture with machinery is the decisive condition for the great development of the integration of agriculture, forestry and animal husbandry.” In order to fill the gap in our province’s forest machinery, develop forestry production and accelerate the pace of agricultural mechanization, we successfully trial-produced the FW 3 afforestation digging machine in 1977. On the basis of the in-plant tests, a productive test was carried out in Lin Caochang, Chexiang Commune, Changtai County, from November 1977 to December 1977. The test results show that this machine has reasonable layout, compact structure, light weight, small vibration, easy operation and good adaptability to complicated natural conditions, which can basically meet the requirements of digging holes in forest.
