Sun Microsystems announces a family of enhanced server cluster solutions. The new high availability Internet services and toolkits provided by these solutions allow customers to turn most standard applications into high availability applications for continuous “uptime.” The Ultra Enterprise clustering solution features Solstice HA 1.3 software, which extends from the Ultra Enterprise 2 Workgroup clustering machine to the data center-class Ultra Enterprise 6000 clustered machine.
