According to Simon, strategy is a human interface that interfaces with the internal and external environment. A sound strategic theory should be able to explain not only the observed phenomena in the internal and external environment, but also the interface between the internal and external environment in order to cope with the changing environment. This article focuses on plasticity - an important aspect of strategic decision-making and implementation and is empirically rooted in the organization’s internal environment, providing a theoretical basis for studying the relationship between franchisees and franchisees in franchising organizations.
