Entertaining sports enthusiasts have taken action! The BBC has announced that 4.5 million sports enthusiasts have experienced Wimbledon through BSKyB / Sky digital programming on the OpenTV interactive platform, Tennis tournament or British Golf Open. As previously reported, one million digital satellite audiences watched the BBC’s Wimbledon interactive program on the first day of the tournament. During this competition, an average of 900,000 viewers a day watched the program, bringing the total to 4.2 million viewers.
