周恩来总理生前曾多次提到张宝泉,说:“他是一位很好的同志,牺牲得很壮烈,我们应当怀念他。” 张宝泉,字仲苍,1901年生于陕西省三原县一个较富裕的农民家庭。1924年,张宝泉在天津南开中学读书期间加入了中国共产党。 1927年3月,张宝泉参加了党所领导的上海工人第三次武装起义。他负责起义中的交通联络工作。同年8月,他担任党中央交通处内交主任,负责市内地下组织的联络、传递文件、接待和护送出入上海的中央领导同志等工作。 张宝泉深知党内交通联络工作的重要,他以对革命事业的无限忠诚,努力学习地下工作的方法,逐渐练就了地下工作者特有的机警与沉着的本领。他先以上海大学学生的身份作掩护,上海大学被封闭后,他又以陕西同乡的关系,经常出入于原上海大学校长于右任的公寓,经常到中央各机关和中共江苏省委等处传递文件。
Premier Zhou Enlai repeatedly mentioned Zhang Baoquan during his lifetime. He said: “He is a very good comrade and lives very heroic. We should miss him.” Zhang Baoquan, born in 1909 in Sanyuan County, Shaanxi Province, Peasant family. In 1924, Zhang Baoquan joined the Communist Party of China during his study in Nankai Middle School in Tianjin. In March 1927, Zhang Baoquan took part in the third armed uprising of the Shanghai workers led by the party. He is in charge of traffic liaison in the uprising. In August of the same year, he served as director of the internal affairs of the Central Bureau of Communications and was responsible for liaison with the underground organizations in the city, delivering documents, receiving and escorting the central leading comrades in and out of Shanghai. Zhang Baoquan understands the importance of intra-party traffic liaison work. With his endless loyalty to the cause of the revolution, he worked hard to learn the methods of underground work and gradually trained the underground workers’ special alertness and calm ability.
