According to R. Erskine’s preliminary plan, a total of 600 households, 2-3 floors of residential buildings, and more than half of the land in the neighborhood were converted into gardens and parking lots. However, when it was implemented, the plan had been changed: the number of total households was reduced, the area of each household was expanded, and the proportion of two-storey residential buildings was increased. Some of the outer corridors of the previously designed residential building have been converted into closed corridors and additional external staircases have been added. The doorways of the unit and the occupants are recessed into the exterior wall and painted in different colours, which are prominent and easy to identify.
