在毛主席“备战、备荒、为人民”和“以粮为纲,全面发展”的伟大方针指引下,我区1971年在海涂上新发展了二万多亩糖蔗。广大贫下中农和革命干部,发扬“一不怕苦,二不怕死”的革命精神,战胜了严重的干旱、洪、涝、风等自然灾害,试种的第一年,就夺得了较好收成,但也有些问题有待进一步摸索经验,加以解决,特别是宿根蔗没有抽芽的现象比较
Guided by the great principle of “preparing for war, preparing for famine, for the people,” and “taking grain as the key link and all-round development,” our district newly developed more than 20,000 mu of sugar cane on the coast in 1971. The majority of the poor peasants and middle peasants and revolutionary cadres carried forward the revolutionary spirit of “one is not afraid of suffering and the other is not afraid of death” and defeated the natural calamities such as severe drought, floods, floods and winds and won the better harvests in the first year of trial planting.
