我们知道,“素描”的概念,一般被认为是创作前所进行的各种素材的收集、整理、草图等等准备性的绘画。随着人们对绘画认识的不断深入,欣赏程度和层次的宽容与宽泛,素描本身所具备的艺术魅力及其对物象的直接表达性所给予的亲切感觉,已经表明它可与绘画概念范畴的认识和理解等同起来。当然,这一点仅是对于创作而言的。而在美术教学中,素描就承担不同的任务。在高等美术专业教育中,教师当然可以给学生的思维输入新的素描理念,以启迪思考,甚至作为直接创作的方式和承载。但是,在美术师范教育中,素描应当不折不扣地作为造型的基础,素描课就应是不断锤炼造型能力的基础课。这对学生认识和理解客观物体,培养正确的观察方法和表现方法有着重要的意义。
