Between January 2001 and February 2004, the authors received a total of 218 cases of gastric cancer and 271 cases of colorectal cancer diagnosed by surgery and pathology, of which 78 cases were associated with gastric cancer and 65 cases were associated with colorectal cancer. Through MTT assay, we detected the chemosensitivity of tumor cells in fresh tumor specimens and explored the difference of chemosensitivity between tumor cells and chemotherapy in gastric cancer and colorectal cancer with varying degrees of anemia
