作者主要介绍罐藏番茄新品种‘圆红’的选育过程及其主要性状与栽培技术要点。‘圆红’是从‘罗城一号’ב满丝’的杂交后代中,通过系谱选择育成的一个既适于制酱又适于罐藏兼用的品种。该品种具有长势强、果色好、果形整齐、座果率高、果肉厚且紧实、抗裂性强、可溶性固形物和番茄红素含量高等特点,在产量、果实主要加工性状、罐藏成品质量和成品率等方面均超过对照品种‘罗城一号’,现已在生产上大面积推广应用。
