翻译能力是高职高专学生重要的英语技能之一,却容易在实际教学中被忽视。问题的根源在于高职英语翻译教学存在着很多不足,需要在更新理念、加强重视的同时,变革教学方式,促成高职英语翻译教学的整体创新,实现教学目标。本文提出了一些解决问题的策略:要改变这种状况,学生应树立正确的翻译学习态度,提倡教学方法多元,以及注重传播文化背景知识,使学生了解不同文化的差异。
Translation ability is one of the most important English skills for higher vocational students, but it is easily overlooked in practical teaching. The root of the problem is that there are many deficiencies in English translation teaching in higher vocational colleges. It is necessary to renew the concepts and strengthen the attention while at the same time changing the teaching methods and promoting the overall innovation of English translation teaching in higher vocational education to achieve the teaching goals. This paper proposes some strategies for solving problems: To change this situation, students should establish a correct attitude towards translation learning, promote diversity of teaching methods, and pay attention to disseminate cultural background knowledge, so that students understand the differences between different cultures.
