六十年代初,金寨县黄梅戏剧团曾带着《天仙配》、《红楼梦》、《罗帕记》、《碧玉簪》、《刘三姐》等传统和移植剧目,六下河南,活跃在商城、固始、潢川、罗田、信阳等地。 在六三年赴豫演出中,该团特邀信阳地区豫剧团的阎立品老师(豫剧五大流派之一),手把手教青年演员傅永清、徐惠芳水袖、身段等表演技巧。并学习移植了原信阳地区曲剧团演出的曲剧《花为媒》。 该团在七九年再次赴豫演出时、又邀请了漯河地区豫剧团著名演员
