广东省公安厅2004年共接报劫持人质案件11宗,这11 宗案件表现出以下特点:一是选择作案时间及作案对象的不固定性;二是犯罪嫌疑人大多为外省籍无业人员;三是作案人所持工具多为刀具;四是案发原因多数为图财等经济因素。这11 宗案件的处置反应迅速,措施得当,15名人质均被安全解救, 犯罪嫌疑人中除1名逃跑外,5名被抓捕、5名被当场击毙。其成功经验主要有:
