光明日报的特点何在?光明日报是一张政治性的报纸,在对重大政治新闻进行报道的同时,又着重报道统一战綫工作,并且为了适应中上层知识分子的需要,为了适应文化教育工作的需要,要用较大的篇幅报道文化教育工作。这就是说,既要宣传党的总路綫、总政策,又要经常具体深入地宣传统战政策和文教政策;既要反映国内外的重大政治事件,又要系统生动地反映统战和文教方面的面貌。这就涉及到报纸的内容、风格和办报方法等等一系列的问题。因此,领导上要求我们在编辑工作中为“社会主义多样化,突出特点,进行创造性的工作”而努力。这是一个艰巨的任务,需要不断地研究和不断地创造。正因为如此,也是一项饶有兴趣、激发我们努力前进的工作。向着这个目标探索前进,我们对文教宣传的工作做得比较多一些,也略有一些经验和教训;而对于统战工作的宣传,更感不足,这是一个很大的缺点。全面总结突出统战和文教特点问题,我们的经验,教训和研究工作,都远远不够。所以,在这一篇文章里只能就光明日报如何宣传文教工作,谈几点思想认识,工作方法和一些设想。
