陈善同是清末民初有影响的政界人物,曾在清廷和民国政府担任多项要职,同时也是河南学界耆宿,留有《豫河续志》、《樗园奏稿》等多部著述。他担任主纂的《重修信阳县志》为民国县志的典范之作。
Chen Shan-tung was an influential political figure in the late Qing dynasty and early Republic of China. Chen worked in the Qing court and the government of the Republic of China as a number of key positions. He also is a nephew of Henan academics with many writings such as “Yu He Continuation” and “Liyuan Play”. He served as chief editor of “rebuild Xinyang County,” a model for the Republic of China.
