在津巴布韦疟疾是常见病,门诊病人中超过十分之一是疟疾,极大多数是恶性疟。1988年消耗300万片氯喹,大多数用氯喹治疗的病人血检无疟原虫。一般认为误诊的原因主要是医务人员未经适当培训和未能询问好病史。为了确定哪些临床症状可用于判别疟疾病例,进行了此项研究。选择津巴布韦中马绍纳兰省Muzara-bani村附近三个农村诊所为观察点,该地终年有疟疾传播,诊所医务人员在当地至少一年以上,观察时间为1989年1~2月。首先由门诊病人主诉病情,再按调查表提问,婴儿
Malaria is a common disease in Zimbabwe, and more than one in 10 outpatients are malaria, the vast majority of them falciparum malaria. In 1988, 3 million chloroquine were consumed, and most of the patients treated with chloroquine did not have a blood test for Plasmodium. The reason for the misdiagnosis is generally believed to be that the medical staff members have not been properly trained and have not been able to ask a good medical history. This study was conducted to determine which clinical symptoms are useful in discriminating malaria cases. Three rural clinics near Muzara-bani village in Mashonaland province, Zimbabwe, were selected as observatories, where malaria was transmitted throughout the year and clinic staff were present for at least one year and were observed from January to February 1989.
