关于for fear that,in case,lest引导的状语从句的分类,国内外语法学家已有大量论述。
For fear that, in case, lest guidance adverbial clause classification, domestic and foreign grammarians have a lot of discussion. However, in the English grammar literature, not only can we disagree between scholars (Quirk, et al., Alexander, Zhang Zhenbang, Zhang Daozhen, etc.), some authoritative scholars (such as Jesperson, Quirk, et al., Alexander, Zhang Zhenbang, Zhang Daozhen, etc.) have their own writings have inconsistencies, and even misinterpreted, misunderstood. Therefore, it is considered necessary to discuss the adverbial clauses classified by these three terms. For this purpose, we first try to clarify what types of adverbial clauses can be guided by each of these words. Then, based on the distinctive features of the adverbial clauses guided by these words, three principles of discrimination reference are proposed. In order to facilitate the teaching of English grammar, the last part introduces how to use the proposed “Negation of Negation” to simplify the psychological operation of these clauses.
