With the invitation of Zaiger Institute of Genetics and Breeding, Zhang Liliqin, vice president of Gansu Academy of Agricultural Sciences, headed the team of researchers of breeding, cultivation and processing of drupe, went to California to conduct technical investigation from November to December 1991.
