现在回想起来,我这阵子碰到的所有倒霉事,似乎都是由那张贺卡引起的。卡是一张生日卡,已经发黄的软纸板上印着一个穿着红袄绿裤的大头娃娃。这玩意儿大概已经在库房里压了二十年了,如今想找一张这样的贺卡,一定不比找一只限量版的新款路易·威登包包容易。卡上的字写得歪歪扭扭的,我得斜着看才不至于晕眼。阿玉:初五是你的正(整)生日,我和你爸去杨六的电(店)里买卡片。我条(挑)了这张,因为那个娃像你小时候的样子。
Now, in retrospect, all the unlucky things that I’ve come across this time seem to have been caused by that greeting card. Card is a birthday card, has been printed on a soft yellow cardboard wearing a red jacket green pants big doll. This stuff probably has been pressed in the warehouse for two decades, and now looking for a greeting card, certainly not better than looking for a limited edition of the new Louis Vuitton bag easy. The words on the card are crooked, and I have to look at them without glare. A jade: the fifth day is your positive (whole) birthday, I and your dad go to Yang Liu’s electricity (shop) to buy cards. I (pick) this one, because that doll looks like when you were young.
