Yugoslavia Iron Ore Chooses Opencast Field Mobile Crushers with Surface Conveyors as Economic Solutions to Transport Ore. In order to develop a mining program for the Omarska open-cast iron mine in Yugoslavia, mine designers have been seeking the most economical system to transport ore from open pit work to dressing plants. The following three systems have been studied: transporting ores (2.5 km away) by car to the coarse crushing plant at the concentrator; transporting the ore to a stationary crusher station located in the mine using a car, followed by a 2.0 km long ground transport Transported to the beneficiation plant; transported by car to mobile crushers, which were then transported by ground conveyors to the concentrator.
