世界上存在着众多的语言,人类由于语言的隔阂,长期以来交际发生困难;但是随着人类交际的扩大,不同语言之间的接触也就不断发生。人们渐渐发现,语言之间似乎有某种普遍的联系,但又似乎很不相同。科学的进步,经济的发展,视野的扩大,《圣经》里关于语言起源的神奇的传说以及认为一切语言来源于希腊语的传统观念被打破了。
There are many languages in the world. Due to the barriers of language, human beings have had difficulties in communication for a long time. However, with the expansion of human communication, the contacts between different languages continue to occur. People gradually come to realize that there seems to be some universal connection between languages, but it seems very different. The advancement of science, the development of economy, the expansion of field of vision, the magical legend in the Bible about the origins of language, and the traditional notion that all languages come from Greek are broken.
