辛亥革命光复上海,人们只知陈其美带领敢死队进攻江南制造局,而张蓬生组织敢死队率先进攻,后被推为上海北伐军敢死队总司令,则鲜为人知。张蓬生(1884-1970),湖北董市镇人,同盟会员,因光复上海功绩被公推为沪北伐军总司令兼敢死队总司令。后赴美国留学。归国后,先后任北洋政府盐务署、国民政府审计部次长、国大代表,去台湾后任审计长。
