偶然的机会在建筑学报编辑部读到周祥源同志的“论建筑艺术的内容——与翟立林同志商榷”一稿,他指出翟立林同志把建筑艺术内容归结为功能技术和思想意识是不正确的,他认为实用功能和科学技术不能放在建筑艺术内容之内,这两者是实现建筑的必要手段。他从生产力生产关系以及建筑艺术为一定的阶级服务,建筑科学技术则不专属于某一阶级等理论上来进行分析。
Occasional opportunity to read Comrade Zhou Xiangyuan’s “Comments on the content of architectural art—comparing with Comrade Li Lilin” in the Editorial Department of the Journal of Architecture. He pointed out that Comrade Li Lilin’s attribution of architectural art content to functional technology and ideological consciousness is not correct. It is believed that practical functions and science and technology cannot be placed within the content of architectural art, both of which are necessary means to achieve construction. He analyzes production productivity relations and architectural art for a certain class, while building science and technology does not belong to a class or other theory.
