野蚕(Bombyx mandarina Moore)属鳞翅目家蚕蛾科,为食叶类桑树重要害虫,在本省年发生3～4代,10月中旬开始产越冬卵,以滞育状态越冬,直到次年4月才开始陆续孵化,至7月上旬基本结束。滞育是昆虫的一个重要生理现象。野蚕越冬卵的滞育为该虫的连续饲养带来麻烦。关于解除野蚕滞育,目前国内外未见报道。在饲养家蚕中,常用46℃的稀盐酸(比重1.065～1.075)来打破家蚕卵的滞育。为此,参照该方法,开展了这方面的研究。
