20世纪以来,人类在探索外太空方面的技术突飞猛进,相对而言对于近在咫尺的深海却知之甚少。中科院院士汪品先指出,人类对深海的了解,甚至比月球和火星还要少。这基本上反映了人类对深海的研究尚处于较低水平的现状,同时从一个侧面反映出深海研究蕴藏着巨大的机遇。
Since the 20th century, mankind has exploded in its technology of exploring outer space. Relatively speaking, little is known about the deep sea at hand. Wang Pinxian, a member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, pointed out that human beings are even less aware of the deep ocean than the moon and Mars. This basically reflects the fact that human beings are still at a relatively low level in the study of the deep ocean. At the same time, it shows that there are tremendous opportunities in deep-sea research from one aspect.
