对钒钛磁铁精矿矿物组成、烧结矿矿物组成及其生成机理进行了探讨。认为:1) 钛主要以钛铁矿形态存在,而不是钛铁晶石;2) 不同碱度烧结矿固结方式是有区别的;3) 钙钛矿在熔剂性烧结矿中早析出的结晶相,不起粘结相作用,对烧结矿冷强度有不良影响;4) 改进烧结矿固结方式,增加液相量、改变液相性质,是强化钒钛矿烧结过程,提高烧结矿强度的重要途径。
