石油地质海洋地质经济学会成立大会暨第一届学术交流会于1989年9月15～19日在扬州召开。参加会议的正式代表37人,来自各大区局及各直属单位。中国地质经济学会发来了贺电,西北石油地质局和西北石油地质经济学会联名写来了贺信。华东石油地质局党委书记叶绪泰、副局长郭仁炳同志也参加了大会,并作了讲话。大会根据《中国地质经济学会》章程,讨论通过了《石油地质海洋地质经济学会组织条例》,选举产生了第一届理事会理事及
Petroleum Geology Marine Geological Economics Society was established and the first session of academic exchange in 1989 September 15 to 19 held in Yangzhou. The formal representatives to attend the meeting 37 people from all major regional bureau and its subordinate units.
