矿山作业中通洞或坑内各中段的主要水平坑道,除了作为基本的搬运坑道外,又作为向工作现场输送新鲜空气的通风坑道。在冬季的时候,坑口及通向坑内的一定区域内,因受到坑道外部寒气的侵袭,通常都发生冷冻情祝,以致造成人行及搬运工作的困难,并且亦能引起压缩空气管和水管的冻结。如果采用人工通风的方法,使气流在坑内循环地流动,也可能预防冷冻的发生。然而从经济与保安观点来讲,是不允许经久地采用这种人工通风保温方法的,因为这样就或多或少的需要增设一部分通风机械的装置。而且还可能发生以下的情况:即当人工气流循环渐趋下降,以及自然气流降低时,就要获得相反的结
