This article discusses the effects of different light intensities on some photosynthetic characteristics of millet and peanut after shading treatments. The photosynthetic rate and light-photosynthesis curve increased at low light intensity, especially at the light compensation point and light saturation point. In particular, the increase of relative photosynthetic rate was more significant. At the same time, the content of chlorophyll increased, the water content increased, the leaf thickness became thinner and the photosynthetic production decreased.
